Figures and Vehicles

I charge the following prices per scale to paint miniature figures. All prices are in US dollars.

6mm Foot or Cannon            $0.75

Highlanders or troops with similarly intricate patterns are an additional charge of $1.00 for 25/28mm and $0.50 for other scales.

Figures will be completed without stands if none are provided, but I will be happy to base and flock your figures to your specifications at no additional charge if you ask me to. The stands I provide are cut from matteboard and are flocked with a basic “summer” appearance (ie; dirt, some grass, some foliage, rocks or sticks). If you want something different or if you want a better material than matteboard, there may be an extra charge. Email me to discuss what you’d like. I will only charge you for the materials needed, and only if I don’t already have them. Remember, I want your figures to look as good as you want them to, so do not be afraid to ask for what you’d like.

Terrain Features

I’m happy to paint and even construct terrain features for you. Email me for an estimate of what you would like.

Shipping

I use USPS Priority Mail service for most orders, and use a standard shipment charge:

Small orders are defined as basically whatever I can fit into a standard USPS small flat-rate box. A good rule of thumb is 10 28mm figures or less, or 10 stands of smaller figures.

For orders of $250.00 or more, shipping is free to anywhere on the planet.

Payment Methods

I accept check, money order, or Paypal. Please make all Paypal payments to  StudioValidus@gmail.com. Please contact me in advance for other methods.

How to order

Step 1 – Contact me at my email address and let me know what you want. Details are important, so let me know exactly how you would like your items. For historical figures, I have a fairly extensive library of reference material, but it is also very helpful if you send me pictures or descriptions of what you want. I will respond by emailing you back an estimate of what the project will cost.I will include shipping costs in the estimate, and will give a detailed itemization of each charge.

Step 2 – Ship me the items you want me to paint. Most armies will take approximately 6-8 weeks until they are finished and individual figures take much less time than that. During the time that I have your figures, I will send out a brief status report each Friday to let you know how far along they are. I may also contact you with questions regarding your preferences.

Step 3 – When the figures are finished, I will contact you to let you know. Payment will be made at that time, and your new army will be shipped to you within 5 days of receipt.
